To commemorate the 77th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (27/7/1947 - 27/7/2024), the 55th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's sacred Will (1969 - 2024), and the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (10/10/1954 - 10/10/2024), the Institute of Art, Culture and Economics has launched the publication "Culture of the Era" with the theme "Hanoi Lotus Essence 2024".

With the motto "Supremacy of Law - Connecting Potential - Increasing Value - Sustainable Development," the Institute of Art, Culture and Economics always strives to closely link scientific research, application of research results to practical activities, and the practice of cultural and artistic performances. In this special issue themed "Hanoi Lotus Essence 2024," the publication "Culture of the Era" by the Institute of Art, Culture and Economics will focus on introducing the unique contents and activities of the Hanoi Lotus Festival 2024. This festival, co-organized by the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Tay Ho District from July 12-16, 2024, at the Tay Ho District's Creative Cultural Space, aims to honor the multifaceted values of the lotus flower in Vietnamese life. This is also a practical activity to commemorate the 134th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (19/5/1890 - 19/5/2024), the 55th anniversary of the implementation of his sacred Will (1969 - 2024), and the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (10/10/1954 - 10/10/2024).

On this occasion, the Institute of Art, Culture and Economics completed a stained glass portrait of President Ho Chi Minh, composed of nearly 2,000 lotus flower photos taken from various regions across the country. They also organized a special art program to celebrate the Hanoi Lotus Festival 2024, participated in the Hanoi (Vietnam) - Venezuela Cultural and Artistic Exchange, and strengthened media links to spread the positive values of the lotus flower and the spirit of the festival.

Notably, the Institute of Art, Culture and Economics also completed a stained glass portrait of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, made from thousands of small photos, to express profound grief over his passing at 13:38 on 19/7/2024.

With these significant meanings, the publication "Culture of the Era" by the Institute of Art, Culture and Economics, themed "Hanoi Lotus Essence 2024," is published to spread the beautiful values of the lotus flower in Vietnamese life. It also serves to pay tribute to the immense contributions of beloved Uncle Ho, the great contributions of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, and the significant sacrifices of heroes, martyrs, wounded soldiers, and families with meritorious services to the revolution on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs (27/7/1947 - 27/7/2024).
